Stock market update: Nifty Auto index advances 0.54%

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Auto index closed on a particular recount on Thursday.

Shares of Tata Motors Ltd.(up 4.39 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(up 2.93 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 1.42 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(up 1.19 per cent) and Balkrishna Industries Ltd.(up 1.11 per cent) ended the day as high gainers in the pack.

On the opposite hand, Ashok Leyland Ltd.(down 2.56 per cent), MRF Ltd.(down 1.78 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 1.45 per cent), Samvardhana Motherson Global Ltd.(down 1.17 per cent) and Apollo Tyres Ltd.(down 1.04 per cent) carried out as the head losers of the day.

The Nifty Auto index closed 0.54 per cent up at 26020.4.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up Ninety 9.61 aspects at 25151.95, whereas the BSE Sensex stood up 349.05 aspects at 82134.61.

Among the many 50 shares in the Nifty index, 29 ended in the golf green, whereas 20 closed in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Concept, TV18 Broadcast, NBCC , YES Bank and IFCI had been amongst essentially the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Cybertech Sys, Aarey Remedy, Gokul Agro Resources, Genesys Intnl and Pokarna Ltd hit their novel 52-week highs in on the present time’s substitute, whereas Globale Tessile, Mahalaxmi Cloth Mil, Poddar Housing, Filatex Fashions and NACL Industries hit their novel 52-week lows.
