ONE PERSON has been arrested in connection with a robbery at the Trotters Restaurant, Maraval Road, Port of Spain on November 7.

In a files launch on November 9, the police carrier said motorway patrol officers on a roving exercise in Port of Spain had been called to a robbery in growth at the restaurant.

When they arrived, they had been advised a suspect had fled on foot in direction of the Queen’s Park Savannah. They searched the method and apprehended any individual matching the outline of the suspect.

The actual person, a 21-year-frail from Jojo Lane, El Socorro, used to be arrested and brought to the Port of Spain CID.

Trotters’ proprietor Peter George, in a phone interview on November 9, advised Newsday the robbery came about around 10.30 pm, when the restaurant used to be in  closing-down mode.

“Our security consultants are engaged on boosting the safety. The cameras, and heaps others, we had in place helped the police to take grasp of the suspect.”

He said there had been old stories of suspicious exercise which had been reported to the St Clair police, who had been called, but the folk had disappeared by the time they arrived.
