UAE: Sheikh Mohammed approves Dh3.7 billion 5-year interior roads thought for Dubai

Dubai: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Top Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has permitted the 5-year thought for interior roads (2025-2029), the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced on Sunday.

The thought encompasses 21 initiatives spreading across 12 residential, industrial, and industrial areas, with a entire of 634km of latest roads costing Dh3.7 billion.

This thought reflects Sheikh Mohammed’s keenness to uplift the infrastructure in residential and industrial areas, aligning with Dubai’s inhabitants voice and metropolis expansion, and fostering the nicely-being and happiness of residents.

In 2028, some of the longest interior street initiatives, extending over 284km, will be constructed across three communities: Al Awir 1, Wadi Al Amardi, and Hind 3. This entails 221km of roads in Al Awir 1, 22km of roads in Wadi Al Amardi, and 41km of roads in Hind 3.
