Police fetch cocaine in bathroom wall in Guayaguayare

Arima police, who went to the house of a 40-yr-ragged man in Guayaguayare to survey for weapons and ammunition, as an alternative stumbled on a quantity of cocaine on December 6.

The homeowner turned into today arrested.

The cocaine has an estimated street price of $7,000.

The police said round 3 pm, the officers went to the house in Fresh Lands Village in Guayaguayare.

They claimed they stumbled on a plastic acquire with cocaine hidden between a concrete block on a wall in the bathroom and bathroom house.

The officers took the suspect to the Arima Police Home.

The cocaine weighed 64 grammes.

The arrest turned into fragment of an intelligence-led operation on December 6, between 8 pm and 11 pm, which started in the Arima district.

ACP Rishi Singh, Snr Supt Maynard Wilson, ASPs Ablacksingh and Pitt and Insp Lewis co-ordinated the say.

W/Sgt Ramai led the say, which included individuals of the Arima Operations/ Intelligence Crew.

PC DeMatas is leading the investigation.
