Central blank Eagles 2-0, Prisons down Level Fortin Civic

Central FC got their second gather from as many matches to launch the 2024/25 Trinidad and Tobago Premier Football League (TTPFL) season on December 14 when they defeated Eagles FC by a 2-0 margin on the Ato Boldon Stadium, Couva within the second game of a doubleheader.

After their 3-1 victory over San Juan Jabloteh on the most important weekend of action, Central handed Eagles a second loss to launch the season with goals from Miquel Williams and Dominic Douglas.

Williams opened the scoring within the 20th minute, with Douglas sealing the three parts in second-half of stoppage-time to grasp Central up to six parts and momentarily on the league summit.

After getting greatest two parts within the old TTPFL season, Central already stare a rejuvenated outfit. And with avid gamers reminiscent of Kadeem Corbin, Tyrone Charles and John-Paul Rochford now of their ranks, the “Couva Sharks” stare adore a bunch to sight this season.

In the most important game of the doubleheader, Prisons FC got their first gather of the season and took their tally to four parts when they blanked Level Fortin Civic by a 2-0 margin – handing their opponents a second consecutive loss.

Levin Caballero scored the hole aim within the twenty first minute, with central defender Weslie John securing the three parts with a aim within the forty ninth minute.
