NEW DELHI: FMCG shares closed within the Thursday’s session.

Vadilal Industries Ltd.(up 3.83%), Honasa User Ltd.(up 2.13%), Emami Ltd.(up 2.08%), Prataap Snacks Ltd.(up 1.42%), Dodla Dairy Ltd.(up 1.24%), Euro India New Foods Ltd.(up 1.22%), Mrs. Bectors Meals Specialities Ltd.(up 1.03%), Hindustan Foods Ltd.(up 0.78%), Colgate-Palmolive(India)Ltd.(up 0.16%) and Britannia Industries Ltd.(up 0.07%) stood among the tip gainers.

Bikaji Foods Worldwide Ltd.(down 3.24%), Umang Dairies Ltd.(down 2.66%), JHS Svendgaard Laboratories Ltd.(down 2.02%), Nakoda Neighborhood Of Industries Ltd.(down 1.94%), Tasty Chunk Eatables Ltd.(down 1.79%), LT Foods Ltd.(down 1.50%), Nestle India Ltd.(down 1.27%), Godrej User Products Ltd.(down 1.22%), Gopal Snacks Ltd.(down 1.10%) and Hatsun Agro Products Ltd.(down 1.08%) had been among the tip losers of the day.

The NSE Nifty50 index ended 247.15 recommendations at 23951.7, whereas the 30-share BSE Sensex closed down 964.15 recommendations at 79218.05.

Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd.(up 3.94%), Cipla Ltd.(up 2.32%), Bharat Petroleum Company Ltd.(up 2.17%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(up 1.24%), Apollo Hospitals Endeavor Ltd.(up 0.84%), SBI Life Insurance coverage Company Ltd.(up 0.57%), Shriram Finance Ltd.(up 0.Forty eight%), Eicher Motors Ltd.(up 0.47%), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(up 0.4%) and Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 0.29%) stood among the tip gainers within the Nifty pack.

On the change hand, Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 2.53%), Asian Paints Ltd.(down 2.29%), Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 2.21%), JSW Metal Ltd.(down 2.21%), Grasim Industries Ltd.(down 2.13%), ICICI Monetary institution Ltd.(down 2.08%), Reliance Industries Ltd.(down 1.82%), Bharat Electronics Ltd.(down 1.75%), Tata Consultancy Companies and products Ltd.(down 1.75%) and Infosys Ltd.(down 1.67%) closed within the red.
