A gunman shot and killed a 49-twelve months-faded man on the evening of December 23, in Carapichaima on the roadway.
The victim, Kester Phillip, of Orange Field Avenue, Carapichaima, used to be declared pointless on the Chaguanas Health Facility.
The police acknowledged that at around 9.20 pm, Phillip used to be walking along Derrick Avenue when a gunman accosted him and opened fire.
Phillip managed to speed onto Rodney Avenue, however the gunman continued to fireside, hitting him several times. The gunman then left, and the police were alerted.
Phillip used to be rushed to the sanatorium.
Amongst the major responders were PC Rampersad and WPC Sargeant of the Central Division, who went to the flexibility. When Phillip used to be declared pointless, detectives from the Fracture Bureau of Investigations (Space III) were also notified.
No one has been arrested and investigations are ongoing.
