A negate of emergency became once no longer sufficient to discontinue the homicide of 39-Three hundred and sixty five days-ragged Keegan Barbour who became once shot tiring early on January 1 at his dwelling on Laventille Avenue.
His death marks the major homicide of the Three hundred and sixty five days.
Police said a community of gunmen burst into his dwelling at 1.30 am and started taking pictures. Barbour ran to the assist of the dwelling nonetheless the men chased and shot him.
Residents in the negate called the police and PCs Ravi Chinpire and O’Connor of the San Juan CID replied.
The Three hundred and sixty five days ended with 625 murders, with the final homicide victim of the Three hundred and sixty five days being attorney Randall Hector, who became once killed in a drive-by ambush after leaving church on Stanmore Avenue, Port of Spain.
On December 30, President Christine Kangaloo declared a negate of emergency which gave police and supporting officers extra powers to fight crime.
The stir came after six folk were killed in what became once believed to be the starting up set aside of a brutal gang struggle over the weekend.
