THE family of guitarist and producer Joey Ng Wai says he has regained consciousness amid his ongoing wrestle with pneumonia.
The musician has been on the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on the Port of Spain Standard Scientific institution since December 29 and become as soon as sedated.

Asked for an update on January 5, she stated he stays intubated within the ICU but his kidney capabilities are bettering.
“Tears came from his eyes, which become as soon as so tense to gaze, but lawful to gaze, too, due to he (can feel) feelings…I explained to him what’s taking place to him, the date, the time, the year, making optimistic that he’s attentive to all of that.”
She stated doctors continue to observe him and praised them for the “gleaming” work they’ve been doing.
“There are contributors calling me from spherical this total world with place codes that I compose no longer even know, and it’s incredible they usually are giving us so great encouragement, love and energy. I really thank everyone for that.”
She stated they continue to be hopeful.
